What is the minimum stay?

Our minimum stay is typically 2 nights. However, this can vary depending on the season and availability. Please contact us to discuss your specific dates and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

Can we book individual cottages or must we book all four?

Accepted Answer

You can book individual cottages or any combination that suits your needs. Taggart sleeps 6, Sketrick sleeps 4-6, Simmy Bay sleeps 8, and Bijou Studio sleeps up to 8. For exclusive use of the entire property (up to 25 guests), we recommend booking all four cottages together.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We require a non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Our full cancellation policy is outlined in our terms and conditions, which we'll provide when you make your booking. We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, we require a £200 refundable damage deposit per cottage, returned within 48 hours after check-out inspection, subject to the property being left in good condition.

Can we extend our stay?

If you wish to extend your stay, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate extensions subject to availability. Early notification gives us the best chance of making it work for you.

How many guests can you accommodate?

We can accommodate up to 25 guests across our four cottages: Taggart (sleeps 6), Sketrick (sleeps 4-6), Simmy Bay (sleeps 8), and Bijou Studio (sleeps up to 8). Each cottage can be booked individually or together for larger groups.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. We can sometimes accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests depending on our booking schedule - please ask when making your reservation.

Are bed linens and towels provided?

Yes, all bed linens and bath towels are provided. We supply one bath towel and one hand towel per guest. Please bring your own beach towels if you plan to visit the lough or local beaches.

Yes, we provide free private parking for up to 15 vehicles on-site. The parking area is well-lit, secure, and level. We can also accommodate larger vehicles and trailers if you're bringing horses.

Each property with a hot tub has full instructions provided. The hot tubs are cleaned and heated before your arrival. Please follow our hot tub etiquette guidelines for everyone's safety and enjoyment. Towels for hot tub use should be separate from your bath towels.

All cottages have fully equipped kitchens including oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and all cooking utensils, crockery, and cutlery you'll need. Perfect for self-catering or preparing party food.

Yes, washing machines and tumble dryers are available in the properties. Laundry detergent is not provided, so please bring your own if needed.

Yes! We offer our own Tipsy Afternoon Tea on-site (£45 pps, or £55 pps with champagne upgrade) — no need to travel anywhere. We can also arrange on-site catering through trusted partners including CR Catering, Fire and Flour, and Ash and Tinos Pizzas.
